Golden Cariboo Resources Discovers Consecutive Gold Mineralization in British Columbia Drilling Campaign

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has reported continued success in its exploration efforts at the Halo Zone, with the latest drill hole QGQ24-21 intersecting persistent gold mineralization. The discovery marks the ninth consecutive drill hole revealing visible gold since the initial Halo Zone discovery in July 2024.

The drill hole, positioned at an azimuth of 355° and an inclination of -45°, strategically targeted multiple vein directions and lithological contacts. Drilling commenced in December 2024 and is currently ongoing, with the current depth at 285.3 meters without reaching the lower boundary of the mineralized zone.

Geologically, the gold mineralization appears consistent with previous findings, occurring within a stockwork of quartz-carbonate-pyrite veins hosted in intensely altered greenstone packages of intermediate to mafic volcanics. The current drill hole specifically traversed 257 meters of carbonaceous argillites before encountering the gold-bearing greenstones.

Company President and CEO Frank Callaghan expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing exploration, describing the visible gold strike as an exciting start to the 2025 drilling season. The continued success suggests promising potential for expanding the Halo Zone discovery along its strike and depth.

The ongoing exploration is particularly significant for the mining and resource exploration sectors, as it demonstrates the continued potential of the Quesnelle Gold Quartz property. The consistent discovery of visible gold across multiple drill holes indicates a potentially substantial and continuous mineral deposit.

Technical review of the findings was conducted by Jean Pautler, P.Geo., a qualified person under NI 43-101 standards, ensuring the credibility and scientific rigor of the reported discoveries.

The Quesnelle Gold Quartz property, located near Hixon in central British Columbia, sits within a historically productive gold region. The area has a rich mining history, with over 101 placer gold creeks recorded along a 90-kilometer trend, highlighting the region's geological potential for gold resources.
