Amprion Appoints Katrin Hilmer as COO and Director of Labor Relations to Strengthen Leadership Amid Energy Transition

The Supervisory Board of Amprion GmbH has appointed Katrin Hilmer as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Labor Relations, effective April 1, 2026. This strategic appointment expands the transmission system operator's leadership team as the company's responsibilities in Germany's energy system transformation continue to grow significantly. Hilmer's appointment comes during a period of substantial organizational expansion, with Amprion experiencing an average 13 percent employee growth over the past five years.

Hilmer, currently Managing Director of DB Energie GmbH, will assume comprehensive responsibilities including human resources, operations, occupational safety, and European affairs.
