CCI France Malaysia Expands Business Center, Strengthens French-Malaysian Economic Ties

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Malaysia (CCI France Malaysia) has completed a strategic expansion of its business center in Wisma Mont Kiara, signaling continued growth and commitment to supporting French businesses in the Malaysian market. The expansion doubles the center's previous capacity and introduces sophisticated infrastructure designed to meet the evolving needs of multinational corporations, startups, and small to medium enterprises.

Central to the expansion is a new multipurpose function room capable of hosting up to 40 participants, which will serve as a critical hub for professional development and networking. The facility will offer HRDC-certified training programs covering diverse topics such as human resources management, artificial intelligence, sales strategies, and sustainability, underscoring the organization's dedication to talent development and skill enhancement.

With this expansion, CCI France Malaysia now operates a comprehensive national network consisting of two primary business centers in Kuala Lumpur and satellite offices in Johor Bahru, Penang, and Kota Kinabalu. The enhanced infrastructure includes 30 private offices, 22 fully equipped workstations, and six meeting rooms, providing capacity to support over 50 companies across Malaysia.

The expansion reflects the robust economic relationship between France and Malaysia, as evidenced by the inauguration ceremony attended by key stakeholders including Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid, CEO of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), and H.E. Axel Cruau, Ambassador of France to Malaysia. The event highlighted the collaborative efforts to foster bilateral trade, investment, and innovation.

Beyond physical infrastructure, CCI France Malaysia offers comprehensive business support services including company setup assistance, visa application support, payroll and accounting services, certified translations, and legal compliance guidance. These services are particularly valuable for French companies seeking to establish or expand their presence in the Malaysian market.

The expansion comes at a critical time, with nearly 600 French companies currently established in Malaysia. By providing enhanced facilities and services, CCI France Malaysia is positioning itself as a strategic partner for businesses navigating the complex landscape of international trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region.
